Dear Alumni members and guests,
As I mentioned in the alumni chat group previously, I have decided to step down from President of the Hong Kong alumni. The resignation shall be confirmed on the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the alumni group for this Friday night, 4th October 2024.
It has been an amazing journey for me to work with all the senior alumni, steering committee, and fellows for the development of the Hong Kong alumni group over the past 21 years. Going forward, I have drafted a short constitution for the alumni group, that serves as a summary and foundation that we have established for the Hong Kong alumni group. In the meantime, I shall pursue the development of Loughborough Alumni China in the mainland carried by the heart of the Hong Kong alumni group that I have enjoyed all these years.
I am glad to have received the nomination from alumnus Joe Mo and Marco Cheung for the formation of a new committee to arrange succession of the presidency and the steering roles of the Hong Kong alumni group. I wish all the best for the new committee team and for the future endeavor.
Please be informed that the AGM for this Friday (OCT4) starts at 7:30PM, for those who attend the AGM, please turn up on time.
